storEDGE® announces industry’s first integrated two-way texting

Westwood, KS (March 17, 2016) — The leading self storage technology provider, storEDGE®, announced today the release of two-way texting. This feature gives managers the ability to send and receive texts from any device running their 100% cloud-based management software. The management software uses the existing facility phone number to be used for texting or calling, providing another convenient avenue for current and prospective tenants to get information about the renting process. A link is also provided in all payment text reminders that takes the renter directly to their account to pay their bill.
Along with traditional, event-based automated texting, such as late payments or credit card expiration, the two-way texting feature allows managers to respond to sales and support inquiries via text. Incoming texts trigger a real-time notification in the software, providing the manager the tenant information, tenant account status, and the ability to reply right from their keyboard. With one click, managers can save new phone numbers to existing tenants or add them in the system as new leads. The full two-way conversations are recorded in the tenant record along with all other communication. In the event managers are away from their software, all message history is saved in the system and a follow-up task is generated within the system task list.
