As a writer at storEDGE, I look at a lot of storage buildings. When writing web content for a new storage website, I browse through photos of storage units, check out storage facility amenities, and search for other storage properties in nearby markets. I go as far as to point out storage facilities and discuss them with my husband as we’re driving down the highway. You could even call me a connoisseur of self storage facilities.
I recently wrote an article about current self storage construction trends, and things got sexy, architecturally-speaking. The self storage industry is seeing an exciting trend of modern, attractive, and environmentally-friendly property design. New, class-A developments with solar panels and first-class amenities ranging from Wifi to wine storage are popping up on street corners all across the country.
With so many self storage owners switching to storEDGE, it didn’t take me long to put together a short list of clients with exceptional facility design and amenities. Check out some of my favorites below!
