10 Federal Storage announced today that their brand new, high-tech Angier Avenue facility - which runs completely unmanned and is fully automated for renters - leased a record 77 units during the month of April. The 24-hour accessible facility offers 205 units and is located in Durham, North Carolina, close to the Duke University student campus.
10 Federal’s Angier facility just opened January 30, 2017, and the property utilizes the latest in self storage technology to run the operation without management. Their setup includes electronic door lock systems from Janus International, PTI Security Systems access controls, kiosks from Advanced Kiosks, and the full storEDGE technology package: a marketing website with Advanced Rental Center™ and facility management software.
Regarding the announcement, Austin Jones, Director of Sales at storEDGE, said:
"We’ve had the privilege of working with 10 Federal since their launch, and they continue to be boldly pioneering both in design and technology. Nothing is more satisfying to us than seeing our customers succeed, and we’re incredibly proud to be a small part of 10 Federal’s innovative story." storEDGE Director of Sales
Following the success of the Angier facility, 10 Federal Storage plans to launch a Self Storage Acquisition & Conversion Fund devoted to acquiring manned facilities and converting them to high-tech, fully automated facilities.
